If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably been bundled up in turtlenecks for the majority of the winter… probably even since early/mid fall. How else do you expect me to survive this brutal New Jersey weather?!  Throughout the colder months, my wardrobe is typically earthy tones, neutral colors, or 50 shades of black.  Without even realizing it, my day to day outfits get super repetitive with the leggings and sweaters… aka b-o-r-i-n-g.

This year I decided to explore colors and be bold. I hardly ever wear bright or neon colors, especially pinks and oranges. But I came across the most beautiful dress from Topshop, and I had to buy it. I love that it has long sleeves, goes below my knees so I’m not freezing, and most of all- it’s FUN! Something about these bold colors makes the winter months a little livelier!  Even though it feels like the North Pole sometimes during winter, midi dresses can be the perfect balance of warm and sexy.  You can choose to wear a bodycon with stockings and booties for a nighttime vibe, or you can wear a bright pink flowy dress to an afternoon affair.  The options are endless!
