First & foremost, I would like to say that I will not be getting my nails done until June. Moving on… have you ever had chana dal this way? or as we would call it… chana ni daar 😋

Growing up my mom would always ask us if we want chana ni daar for a snack, and lo & behold- everyone in the house knew exactly what was about to go down.

We made hugeee bowls of this & enjoyed it while watching movies! The only thing is that u have to eat it very fast or it will get soggy… although that was never an issue for us 😅

My mom would take out my portion and then add cilantro into the rest of it.. I didn’t do that today bc I’m still experimenting and I’ve come to the conclusion that I definitely DO NOT like raw cilantro. But u can always add it!

I guess let’s call this Tandoori Vodka Pasta???? Honestly you don’t even need the vodka though. 😂

A few tips - if you follow this recipe, I ended up adding in about 1.5 cups of half and half. If you’re adding vodka, do about 1-2 oz. Use1/2 cup of shredded paneer. Reserve some pasta water if you want the sauce to be thinner. I used about 1/2 a pound of pasta, but you can use as much as you want! This recipe is good for 3-4 people 😋

First time making these and I have some key takeaways - make sure you wrap the dough VERY well once the cream cheese is inside. I thought I did, but clearly not all of them 😅 I had to bake them in my oven for about 20 minutes and then I broiled them for 2 minutes to get the tops golden brown. You can just bake them for 25-30 minutes, depending on your oven! I used @chobani greek yogurt 🙂 Honestly, they turned out pretty good! 🤍
