Extra Veggie Lo Mein, an H Mart Recipe!

A fun noodle dish provided to you by H Mart! H Mart has all of the classic Asian flavors to help you make your food taste like restaurant quality!

INGREDIENTS

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp chili oil
  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp gochugaru
  • 1 tsp white pepper

Veggies

  • 3 cups cabbage
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 white onion, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 cups snow peas
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 8 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 inch piece ginger, thinly sliced
  • 2 Thai chilis, thinly sliced
  • 3 green onion, thinly sliced

Other

  • 1 lb lo mein noodles, cooked
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

INTRUCTIONS

Sauce

  1. Mix together all sauce ingredients and set aside.

Veggies

  1. Start by adding 2 tbsp oil in a wok (or large pot). Then add in your carrots, snap peas, bell peppers, cabbage and broccoli florets.
  2. Let the veggies cook for 3-5 minutes and then add in your onion, green onion, thai chili’s, mushrooms, garlic, and ginger. Close the lid and let these veggies cook for 5-7 minutes.
  3. When the cabbage is wilted and all veggies are cooked through, add in rice vinegar.
  4. Add your noodles, followed by the sauce. Toss everything together until all of the noodles are coated with the sauce.
  5. Adjust seasoning / sauces per taste.

NOTES

Other ingredients you can add:

  • your choice of protein (egg, tofu, chicken, beef, etc)
  • zucchini, yellow squash
