Denim Shorts and Bright Blazers

Who says you can’t wear shorts in the winter?! I have recently been so obsessed with wearing stockings under denim, and I thought these shorts would be PERFECT for this look.
I have this issue where I wear my winter clothes all year round because I’m always freezing, but my summer clothes are only worn for 2-3 months. This look adds all of my favorite aspects about summer in one: shorts and a pop of color! These black denim Topshop shorts are exactly what I was looking for because of the length. I love how they aren’t super short, and I love how they are naturally baggy with a subtle destroyed finished to them. Since the shorts are long, my chunky heel Steve Madden booties look so great because they add length to my legs (perfect for us short gals). The outfit is topped off with floral fishnet stockings, a very inexpensive black crop top, and a bright blazer because it’s winter and we need a whole lot of color in our lives!
Be crazy when it comes to dressing yourself for events in the colder months. Your options aren’t just limited to sweaters and jeans… trust me- I HATE wearing jeans.
