Green Goddess Dressing
Megha Patel
When you’re not a fan of salad, you have to keep making the dressing fun! Green Goddess Dressing has turned into more of a dip / spread for me. I’ve been using it on a ton of things because it pairs so well! My version of this dressing is flavorful, creamy, and a bit spicy!
Making & Storing Green Goddess Dressing
What I love most about this dressing is that it takes about 5 minutes to make. Once your greens are washed and garlic is peeled, you don’t need to do much besides placing it into a food processor! My recipe makes about 1-1.25 cups of dressing, which is great for about 6 people. Since you are using mayo and yogurt, I would recommend storing it in the fridge for no longer than 1 week.
Ingredients & Substitutes
The ingredients I use in this dressing are super simple and staple items in most fridges. Green Goddess Dressing is meant to be rich and creamy, with tons of herbs. I use cilantro, parsley, dill and chives. You can always adjust the recipe and omit a certain herb, or add extra of a specific one. Try to stick to the measurements as best as you can, though! Other options for this recipe are tarragon and mint! If you want to make this recipe vegan, try vegan mayo or you can use green yogurt instead of mayo overall.
When to use This Dressing
Lucky for you, Green Goddess Dressing pairs so well with many foods. The most common option is a salad, but I prefer to use it in wraps! My Green Goddess Wraps are SO delicious, and they are extremely healthy. I love to add this dressing on them for some extra flavor 😉 My recommendation to you is to double the recipe and make it over the weekend! It’s perfect to use with so many meals, and also makes an excellent dip 🙂
