Truffle Alfredo Pappardelle

Hi friends 🙂 I’m back with a new recipe that i’m TOTALLY obsessed with! Even though I’m a food blogger and I love to cook, there are times when I want something that’s half ready, so all I have to do is add in a few ingredients to give it that #chocolateandcheeseplease touch 😉 This Truffle Alfredo Pappardelle is exactly what I’m talking about!

Truffle Alfredo

To be quite honest with you, I’ve never had truffle alfredo before in my life! I LOVE a good white sauce, especially alfredo since it’s rich with yummy parmesan cheese! This Truffle Alfredo from Williams Sonoma is so creamy, and it makes cooking on a weeknight so simple. You can eat the sauce alone, or you can add in a few veggies like I did!

Organic Pappardelle

In my opinion, you can’t deny a GOOD quality pasta. Something I love about the Williams Sonoma pasta’s is that they taste like you are at an Italian restaurant. They are so fresh, and the ingredient list is very wholesome and clean. The Organic Pappardelle is one of my favorites to get from Williams Sonoma because I can’t ever find it at any grocery store near me! I think of it as a nice little treat for myself 😉

MarketFair Princeton, NJ

For both of these products, I went to the Williams Sonoma located at the MarketFair Mall in Princeton, NJ! They have all different types of stores there, whether you are looking for home decor, kitchen essentials, or a fun new outfit for the summer/fall transition!  If you haven’t already checked it out, I highly recommend going! They also just opened up a Corner Bakery Cafe, which has a lot of  great sandwich / lunch options!

Semi Homemade dinner ready in minutes!

INGREDIENTS

INTRUCTIONS

  1. Add water to a large pot, and once it starts boiling, add in your pappardelle. Be sure to heavily salt your water!
  2. As the pasta is cooking, add oil to a large nonstick pan on medium heat. Once oil is heated, throw in your rosemary. Mix until fragrant.
  3. Then add in your garlic and let it heat up. After a minute or so, add in your cherry tomatoes. Be sure not to let the garlic burn.
  4. Add in your mushrooms. Let everything cook until the tomatoes start to blister a little, and the mushrooms become soft. Add in some salt to taste, and then throw in your jalapenos.
  5. Once everything is mixed, add in your sauce and stir. Add salt + black pepper per taste. Let your sauce cook on medium heat until the pasta is ready.
  6. When the pasta is cooked to al-dente, take your tongs and add the pasta directly to your pan. Mix everything together, and add pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
  7. Garnish with some crushed red pepper flakes and enjoy!

NOTES

  • You can store it in the fridge for about 2 days
  • I like to save some pasta water in a jar if I refrigerate the pasta. When reheating, add the pasta and pasta water into a pan and it will still taste extremely fresh.
