Wardrobe Rehab 5: Vests & Accessories
Megha Patel
I haven’t shared my Wardrobe Rehab posts with you in a LONG time but I have a lot coming your way! Like most of you, I love shopping for Fall clothes because I LOVE to layer. You can still make use out of your summer clothes after buying a few new cardigans/vests/sweaters. In this post, I’m sharing with you an easy look wearing a faux fur vest & accessories!
One thing that I’m obsessed with is Faux Fur. I don’t think I’ll ever get over this look because it jazzes up any regular outfit. Honestly, I am such a lazy human and I pretty much have 5 pairs of black leggings and tops on rotation to wear during the work week. BUT – what makes my boring black weekday outfit pop is my warm & fuzzy faux fur. I have a bunch of these and they are worn regularly throughout the fall and winter. I bought mine from Piper Boutique in Philadelphia, but Gap ($78.00 USD), Macy’s ($158.00 USD), and Nordstrom ($149.00 USD) have really cute ones!
As a Financial Analyst, you’d think I have to wear more business-y/less casual-y clothes, right? W R O N G. My workplace is pretty casual and I get away with wearing leggings because I’ll just wear a long blouse or sweater. I’m wearing faux leather leggings because they are just a sexier look for the fall/winter, am I right?! I bought mine from Guess a while ago, but you can also find them at Express ($49.90 USD), Loft ($69.50 USD), and Target ($34.00 USD) 😊
I bought this Belt Bag from Zara ($29.90 USD) and I couldn’t be happier. It was a little big on me so I improvised and added more holes in myself. Belt bags are trending HARD right now and they are so cute when actually used as a belt and looped into your pants, or to wear on top of a jacket or vest, like I did. And in my opinion, it’s the perfect accessory for when you are trying to hold a sandwich in one hand and a soda in the other… duh.
Over the weekend, I attended Brown Girl Magazine’s SLASHIE SUMMIT and received some pretty pieces of jewelry in a swag bag (I love saying swag bag). The earrings are by EHANI and the ring is by Anuja Tolia. They have some gorgeous jewels on their sites. And they happened to both match my look! I’m soo in love with both because they go with my style of accessorizing with simplicity. The jewelry is also very affordable which obviously is a win-win situation.
Hope you guys like the look!
