Buffalo Chicken Caesar Salad
Megha Patel
Hi friends! Today I’m sharing my DIY Buffalo Chicken Caesar Salad! Obviously I’m not using real chicken, but this is a great recipe for those of you who like Morning Star products, or want to add some meat in there! Growing up, we LOVED the Morning Star Buffalo Wings because they were so flavorful and pretty nutritious overall! If you haven’t tried them yet, you need to get your hands on them 🙂 I buy mine from my local Shop Rite, but you can find them at any grocery store!
I’m not big on eating salad, so when I do, I make sure it’s EXTREMELY good. One of the dressings that I have always liked is caesar dressing, but I’m sure you know that it typically comes with anchovy paste. Even though I’m not super picky on that, I don’t like the concept of anchovies in it. Capers are a GREAT alternative to anchovies because they have the same tangy-ness to them. Along with that, I originally bought regular worcestershire sauce, but I returned it when I realized it has anchovies in it as well. There are so many vegan brands out there. I tried Annie’s and I thought it was just fine!
Of course I’m adding thai chili’s to this, because when do I NOT add something spicy to my food? Feel free to omit if you aren’t a fan, or you can substitute for jalapeno’s or serrano’s if you don’t have thai chili’s near you!
To make this recipe light since it’s for a dressing, I’m using vegan mayo. I typically do not buy regular mayo in general, so this is something I would have naturally done anyways. My favorite Vegan Mayonnaise brand is Sir Kensington’s!
I hope you guys try this recipe out! It’s so perfect to eat as a meal, or an appetizer to start your meal off with 🙂 Let me know if you have any questions! Please tag me in any insta stories so I can see how it turned out! Thanks so much loves <3
