Hi guys! I’m going to keep this post nice and simple for ya since I’ve posted this recipe in my Kraft Heinz Snack Stadium post before!
My Spicy Spinach Dip is the best appetizer to serve for any occasion. However, Super Bowl Sunday is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with an amazing dip? You can make the filling in advance so all you have left to do is bake it right before the party! The best part is that you can certainly eat this as soon as it’s baked, but it can also sit out during the party at room temperature 😊

Spicy Spinach Dip

- 1 large loaf bread
- 8 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese (room temperature)
- 1 cup Kraft Mozzarella Shredded Cheese
- 2 cups Kraft Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 cups spinach (finely chopped)
- 4 Thai chili peppers (finely chopped)
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 large jalapeno (sliced)
- 1 small white onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp hot sauce of your choice
- crushed red pepper (per your taste)
- salt (per taste)
- black pepper (per taste)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Melt your butter in a pan on medium heat.
- Once heated, add in your garlic, Thai chili peppers, and onion. Cook for about 2 minutes.
- Then add in your spinach and cook until it is completely wilted. Add salt and black pepper per your taste while its cooking. Then remove from heat.
- In a bowl, mix together your cream cheese, cooked spinach, mozzarella cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, crushed red pepper, salt and black pepper per taste.
- Cut open the top of your bread loaf and remove all of the dough so you can form the bowl.
- Stuff the cream cheese and spinach mixture into the bread bowl. Sprinkle with some extra cheese, if desired, and layer the jalapeno slices on top.
- Bake in the oven for 18-20 minutes with the top off.
- Serve to guests immediately with chips/veggies when its done!
